International Show Posted Wednesday, September 20, 2000 by arthur We just got back from the International Show a couple days ago. The show went smoothly, and was alot of fun as usual. Choco Dock ran away with all the top honors.
There was one disaster at the show. Al Pruit's stallion, Shufflin' Oscar, fell and broke his leg. Sadly he had to be put down. Any of you who know Al should probably send him your condolences.
On the home front and a lighter note; Venture's Blue Boy took the trophy in Pole Bending! He was also in close running for the Rea Swan versatility award until he didn't place in the Trail Pleasure class. Oh well, can't win them all! Nevertheless, both Venture's Blue Boy and St. Louis Blues brought several ribbons home to Missouri. Most importantly, they also made many friends, as usual!
